The three spoke about the fiscal impact of Lincoln on the Richmond-Petersburg area, why Virginia was chosen for the Steven Spielberg film, and discussed the importance of putting in place greater protections for intellectual property in an increasingly globalized entertainment industry. The economic impact of the film industry in Virginia in 2010 was $344 million with 2,700 Virginians actively working in the sector.
