National Governor’s Association’s Forum on College Readiness Site Visit. Governor Kaine will lead teams from around the country on a tour of one Virginia’s renowned career and technical education schools.

Governor Kaine will deliver the keynote address at the Conference for Mental Health and Criminal Justice Transformation, a meeting to evaluate and improve Virginia’s mental health services for those in the criminal justice system.

Woodrow Wilson Bridge Dedication. Governor Kaine will join U.S. Secretary of Transportation Mary E. Peters and regional leaders to dedicate the Woodrow Wilson Bridge over the Potomac River.

I-95/I-495 over the Potomac RiverPeninsula Transportation Town Hall. Governor Kaine will hold a series of statewide town hall meetings to discuss the upcoming transportation special session. Staff from the Unclaimed Property Division of the Virginia Department of Treasury will also be in attendance to help citizens check for money, stocks, bonds, dividends, utility deposits, insurance proceeds and tangible property being held by the state. No sign-in is required to attend or ask questions. All town hall meetings are open to the public and media.
