Rappahannock Goodwill Industries Tour and Grant Announcement - July 29, 2009

Governor Kaine tours the Rappahannock Goodwill Industries' laundry facility, an industrial scale laundry that has 119 employees, 70% of whom have a disability. The 24,000 square foot facility processes 6.2 million pounds of laundry annually from clients across Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. including Dewitt Army Hospital, Fort A.P. Hill, and the FBI Training Academy at Marine Corps Base, Quantico. Governor Kaine then announces the recipients of 12 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grants to increase employment for Virginians with disabilities.
