Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs and Information Systems
Jenny Wortham
Jenny Wortham serves as Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs and Information Systems for the Governor's Office, Wortham's responsibilities include coordinating the development of legislative proposals within the Governor's Policy Office and managing the review of legislation throughout the General Assembly Session. In this position, Wortham has worked to engineer the design, implementation, and expansion of the first electronic legislative review system for the Office of the Governor.
Wortham began working for Governor McDonnell in his Transition Office. She was appointed in January 2010 as the Special Assistant for Legislative Review and Scheduling. Wortham previously worked for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in the Community Affairs office.
Wortham earned a bachelor's degree in Classics and Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
