Governor Kaine Announces Additional Appointments
RICHMOND – Governor Timothy M. Kaine today announced an appointment to the administration, and to the following boards and commissions:

Office of the Secretary of Commerce and Trade
- Lynette Hammond of Richmond will serve as Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade. She is a 1983 graduate of Virginia Tech, with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She brings over 20 years of experience in legislative process at the state and federal level, most recently as a senior policy analyst for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. Previously Hammond served with the Virginia Employment Commission and Virginia Division of Legislative Services.
