Governor Northam Announces Administration Appointments

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam announced additional appointments to his Administration today.

Secretariat of Transportation

Amy Wight, Assistant Secretary of Transportation
Amy Wight has been appointed Assistant Secretary of Transportation. Amy most recently worked for Advanced Patient Advocacy, LLC, where she served as Director for Employee Success and External Education Services. Prior to that, Amy worked in the Virginia Office of the Attorney General for 13 years, serving as Director of the Gang Reduction and Intervention Program and as Special Projects Coordinator in the Public Safety and Enforcement Division where she coordinated legislative activities for the Office of the Attorney General.

Amy is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Italian Studies. She is Vice President and Community Liaison for the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle and serves on the Executive Committee of the Greater Fulton Civic Association.
