Governor’s flag order for the State Capitol in Richmond
This is to order that the flag of the Commonwealth of Virginia is to be flown at half-staff over the State Capitol in respect and memory of former Virginia Delegate Harry Robert “Bob” Purkey.
I hereby order that the flags shall be lowered at sunrise on Friday, February 23, 2018, and remain at half-staff until sunset.
Ordered on this, 20th day of February, 2018.
Governor’s flag order for the City of Virginia Beach
Be it further encouraged that the flag of the Commonwealth of Virginia may be flown at half-staff on all local and state buildings and grounds in the City of Virginia Beach and in any other locality as deemed appropriate, in respect and memory of former Virginia Delegate Harry Robert “Bob” Purkey.
I hereby authorize that the flag shall be lowered at sunrise on Friday, February 23, 2018, and remain at half-staff until sundown.
