Proclamation List- Administrative Professionals Day

By virtue of the authority vested by the Constitution of Virginia in the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, there is hereby officially recognized:

Administrative Professionals Day

WHEREAS, administrative professionals play a vital role in coordinating the operations of government, corporate offices, schools, small businesses, hospitals, houses of worship, and many other places of employment throughout our Commonwealth; and

WHEREAS, administrative professionals are valued for their organizational skills such as time management and communications, are innovators within their organizations, and are essential contributors in today’s dynamic work environment; and

WHEREAS, the work of administrative professionals today requires advanced knowledge and expertise in office technology, strategic support, project management, organization, customer service, and other critical office management responsibilities; and

WHEREAS, administrative professionals routinely make sacrifices in support of carrying out responsibilities and sustaining the mission of their organization; and

WHEREAS, it is both necessary and proper to recognize administrative professionals for the vital role they play in the success of businesses and government throughout our great Commonwealth and Nation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Glenn Youngkin, do hereby recognize April 23, 2025, as ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS DAY in the COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, and I call this observance to the attention of all of our citizens.
