By virtue of the authority vested by the Constitution of Virginia in the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, there is hereby officially recognized:

Women's Entrepreneurship Day

WHEREAS, women entrepreneurs are a significant part of the growing economic infrastructure of the Commonwealth of Virginia and, through unwavering dedication, inspiring endeavors, and transformative initiatives, make a positive impact on their communities; and

WHEREAS, more than 350,000 women-owned businesses strengthen Virginia’s economy by supporting families, creating jobs, and contributing to communities across the Commonwealth; and

WHEREAS, Virginia ranks among the top states nationally for the number of women-owned businesses and is recognized as one of the best places in the nation for women entrepreneurs; and

WHEREAS, Women’s Entrepreneurship Day was launched at the United Nations ten years ago and is now celebrated around the world and across the United States, including here in Virginia, to honor and empower women entrepreneurs; and

WHEREAS, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization continues to promote and support women through mentorship, tools, and strategic partnerships that help grow and strengthen their businesses; and

WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Virginia values entrepreneurship and celebrates the continued growth of women-owned businesses across all communities;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Glenn Youngkin, do hereby recognize November 19, 2025, as WOMEN’S ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY in the COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, and I call this observance to the attention of all our citizens.
